Thomas Tank Toys

Created by the holy man with vision, the talented Rev. Audrey more than 50 years ago, Thomas the Tank Engine has become more and more popular ever since.

Naturally Thomas appeals to boy's but of course many girls love him too. It seems strange today with so many other characters around but at the time the concept of humanising or personalising a train engine by sticking a face on it was very radical ...

... thank goodness for Audrey's vision though because Thomas is now iconic and products avaialable go far beyond a simple train set, almost anything you can imagine has the Thomas brand on it, that cheery little tank Engine looking out at you with those big, big eyes!!.

As well as Thomas there are a bunch of other characters, nearly all of them other engines, it's odd how in this modern world a simple old steam engine should be so popular, most kids have probably never even seen one in real life!!

I've yet to meet a toddler boy who doesn't love Thomas, so sometimes you just have to not ask questions and just roll with it ... Thomas the Tank is here to stay!
